Babil Khan’s son, late actor Irrfan Khan, shared the motion poster for his final film, The Song Of Scorpions. The video begins with a message calling the film ‘a golden opportunity to see the magician on the big screen for the last time.’

“On Instagram, Babil decided to share the motion poster along with the caption, “One more time, maybe not the last one. With #thesongofscorpions.

Fans explained their excitement at the release of The Song Of Scorpions in the comments section and said they were “waiting eagerly.” “Got some goosebumps,” wrote one. Another commented, “Magician lives forever – good news for the start of 2021. Wow……….Wow…… On the silver screen, KING OF HEARTS is back… Woooohooooooo’ wrote the third.

“Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar shared an Instagram video of The Song Of Scorpions and said it was “never the last time ever. In the caption, she wrote, “A journey from the finite to the infinite.” #Neverthelasttime #thesongofscorpions.

Anup Singh directed The Song Of Scorpions, which premiered at the 2017 Locarno Film Festival and will be released in India next year. In significant roles, the film also starred Golshifteh Farahani and Waheeda Rehman.

Irrfan died after a two-year battle with neuroendocrine tumours on April 29. Sutapa survives him, Babil, and his younger son, Ayaan.

On social media, Babil has been sharing memories of Irrfan. He wrote in one post, “Death is painful to the living, to those most dear to your heart, but you taught me that death is only the beginning.” So here I am, celebrating in my mind your life, the divine bitter-sweetness. I listened to The Beatles, and then you made me obsessed with The Doors, and we used to sing along with you. I still sing those songs now, and then I feel you.
