Arjun Kapoor recently responded to people who made disparaging remarks about his girlfriend, actress and former VJ Malaika Arora, because of their age difference. He called it a “crazy thought process” to use age to contextualize a connection.

For some years, the couple has been dating. Malaika Arora is 48 years old, whereas Arjun Kapoor is 36.

“We don’t even look at 90% of it, so trolling can’t be given much importance because it’s all made up.” When they meet me, the same people will be begging to snap a selfie with me, so you can’t trust that story, Kapoor told Masala.com.

The actor shared a photo with Arora on New Year’s Day. “As the dust settles on 2021 (obviously the virus refuses to go away, so something must be done), we just want to wish all of you a happy and pouty 2022 ahead,” he wrote. With a romantic caption, Arora shared the same photo.

Kapoor was infected with COVID-19 for the second time last week, along with his sister Anshula. He and Arora had contracted the illness in September 2020.
