Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have announced the release date of their much-anticipated film Sooryavanshi on the filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s birthday today. The movie will be released on April 30th, according to the pair. On Twitter, Akshay Kumar shared a teaser video, writing, “We promised you a cinematic experience, and you will get it…the wait is over! The film Aa Rahi Hai Police, starring #Sooryavanshi as a female police officer, will be released in theaters worldwide on April 30, 2021.”
The caption on the video said, “Sooryavanshi trailer was released a year ago on March 2, 2020, and our adoring audience showered it with love. But we had no idea what was to come. The entire world came to a screeching halt. We had to issue a statement confirming the postponement of our film’s debut. We told our audience, however, that Sooryavanshi would return to theaters when the time was right. While it has been a year, a promise is a promise. Guess what? The wait is now over. Aa Rahi Hai Police, Aa Rahi Hai Police, Aa Rahi Hai Police, The film will be released exclusively in theaters around the world on April 30th.”

Akshay Kumar, Rohit Shetty’s leading man, took to social media on his birthday to share a photo with him and wish him an eventful year.
In a letter to his fans, Akshay Kumar said, “It was easy to connect with Rohit because we shared a mutual interest that pulled us together: action! Greetings, Rohit, and best wishes for an exciting year ahead.” On the sets of their upcoming film Sooryavanshi, the actor posted a photo of himself with Shetty.

Katrina Kaif wrote on the other hand, “And Sooryavanshi is coming to the movies on April 30… It’s a raha hai storm. Aa rahi hai police. #Sooryavanshi released worldwide, only in theaters, on 30 April 2021.”
Akshay Kumar plays a DSP in Sooryavanshi, while Katrina plays his love interest. Following a nine-year hiatus, the two actors will reunite for Sooryavanshi. Previously, Katrina said, “Akshay Kumar is one of the most dedicated actors I’ve ever encountered. I learned a lot from him, particularly about commitment and punctuality. He also has a wonderful sense of humor, which helps a lot.” Namastey London, Sing Is Kinng, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Welcome, and Tees Maar Khan are just a few of the films in which the two have previously worked together.
In Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh will reunite for a high-octane climax. It will be EPIC when the three worlds of Sooryavanshi, Singham, and Simmba collide in the film.
