Rasika Dugal has a guest role in the new sci-fi comedy web series “OK Computer,” and she admits she was hesitant to join the cast at first! “In the episode, I make a guest appearance. I only make a brief appearance, despite the fact that the character is vital to the plot. I was sceptical at first because special appearances are frequent in the West but not so much in India, where people prefer to dismiss them as a minor factor “IANS spoke with Rasika about the situation.

She further expanded on the web series, saying: “It looks at what technology is doing to us, how we respond to it, and what the future holds for Artificial Intelligence (AI). It has already become an important part of our lives. In some ways, I think the series is ahead of its time.”

In real life, how tech-savvy is Rasika? The actress breaks out in laughter. “I’m a complete newbie when it comes to technology.” Lockout has proved to be particularly difficult for me. I’ve finally figured out how to make a zoom call without any technical difficulties, and I’m now the proud owner of a web camera, a laptop, a ring light, and earpods, none of which I had before lockdown. I now know how to connect a webcam to a laptop and turn on a ring light! “She responded.

On a more lighthearted note, the actress continued: “Electronic equipment tends to crash in front of me, so I’m not sure what energy vibe I’m giving it. It doesn’t feel right to me.”

Rasika regrets not being able to share the screen with Vijay Varma and Radhika Apte in the series, which also stars veteran Jackie Shroff in an intriguing role.

“I’ve long admired him, having seen him in a number of films as a child. During the dubbing and promotion, I just came across him a couple of times. I’m hoping for a second season with him so we can work together again.” She was able to connect with others because she had a voice.
