Akshay Kumar, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Jacqueline Fernandez, all of Bollywood, flew to Ayodhya for the’mahurat shot’ of their upcoming film Ram Setu. The trio was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport on Thursday, en route to their private flight. Before boarding the private plane, Akshay posted a candid picture with the two leading ladies on his social media account. According to reports, producer Chandraprakash Dwivedi was the one who suggested shooting the mahurat in Ayodhya.

Akshay looked sharp in a black shirt and olive green slacks. Jacqueline, on the other hand, wore a white printed suit with a sheer dupatta in the same hue. Nushrratt, on the other hand, wore a white and pink dress with silver jewelry. In the photographs, Akshay was in good spirits and struck a unique pose for the paparazzi, posing in front of a sign that read, ‘Work in progress, inconvenience is regretted.’

Akshay wrote on his Instagram account after posting the photo, ” “A special film, a special start… Team #RamSetu is on its way to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey starts. On March 17, the makers unveiled a new poster for Ram Setu. The film, directed by Abhishek Sharma of Parmanu, Tere Bin Laden fame, is an action-adventure drama that tells a story with deep cultural and historical roots in India. According to reports, the actor has requested permission to shoot the film in Ayodhya from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Ram Setu will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical release. Along with Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions, Amazon Prime Video will co-produce Ram Setu.
