On the occasion of his 55th birthday on Sunday, in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, Superstar Salman Khan called on his fans not to throng outside his house here. Fans gather outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra every year to catch a glimpse of the actor who comes out on his balcony to say thank you and wave at them. The actor usually celebrates his birthday with family and close friends from the industry at his farmhouse in Panvel. However, due to the pandemic this year, the actor asked people not to gather in large numbers and also informed them that he is not at home.

The performer urged supporters to wear masks, sanitise and retain social distance.

Over the years, my fans ‘Iove and affections have been overwhelming on my birthdays, but this year it is my humble request not to crowd outside my house keeping in mind the Covid pandemic and social distance standards. Pehno’s mask! Karo sanitise! Maintain Rakho Social Distance! Iss waqt principal Galaxy mein nahi huni hun (I am not at Galaxy Apartments right now). Warm regards, Salman Khan,’ said the actor in the notice shown outside of his building.

In the forthcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman, who currently hosts Bigg Boss 14, will receive a special birthday tribute from the contestants.

Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya were seen dancing to his song Yaar Na Miley in the promo video, shared by ColorsTV. While at Kabootar Jaa Jaa Jaa, Vikas Gupta and Arshi Khan performed. For another dance performance, contestant Rakhi Sawant paired up with Rahul Mahajan. Jacqueline Fernandez and Raveena Tandon, on the other hand, will also join Salman in his special BB14 episode on his birthday.

Khan has started shooting on the work front for his upcoming film, “Antim- The Final Truth,” in which he is reportedly playing a Sikh cop. The movie also starring his brother-in-law, actor Aayush Sharma, is reportedly a remake of “Mulshi Pattern”, the 2018 hit Marathi crime drama. While Marathi actor-filmmaker Pravin Tarde helmed the original, the remake will be directed by actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar.

In “Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai,” directed by Prabhudheva, he will next be seen on the big screen. The shooting of the film was completed in October. Also starring Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda, “Radhe…” was previously scheduled to hit theatres on May 22, but due to the pandemic, it was delayed.
