Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) award winners at 12:00 noon on Monday through video conferencing ahead of Republic Day 2021. Formerly known as the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement, PMRBP for those under the age of 18 is India’s highest civilian honour.
Every year on Republic Day, this award is given to children with outstanding achievements in the fields of innovation, sports, arts and culture, social service, academia, and bravery.
This year, in the various categories of Bal Shakti Puraskar, as many as 32 applicants from across the country were selected.
