RJD leader and MLA Tej Pratap Yadav said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take the vaccine shot first, days after statements against the COVID vaccines causing major controversy were issued by Congress and the Samajwadi Party.

Questioning the effectiveness of the vaccine, he said the rest of the country could take the vaccine after PM Modi. His statements are consistent with the statements made by Congressional leader Priyank Kharge, who asked PM Modi to take a shot at COVAXIN before handing it to civilians.
