Shri Rama’s birth anniversary falls on the Navami Tithi (ninth day), Chaitra, Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the Moon). He was born into the Suryavanshi Ikshavaku Dynasty and was known as Raja Ram by the people of Ayodhya. He was also Lord Vishu’s seventh incarnation. The Navami Tithi begins at 12:43 a.m. on April 21 and ends at 12:35 a.m. on April 22.

Puja Shubh Muhurat Rama Navami 2021
During the Madhyana period, Rama Navami puja should be performed (afternoon). The Shubh Muhurat falls between 11:02 AM and 1:38 PM.

Significance of Rama Navami
The Hindu calendar’s Rama Navami is a significant date. As previously stated, the day honours Shri Rama, who was born in the Treta Yuga to King Dasharatha and his first queen Kaushalya.
