Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious illness triggered by a recently identified coronavirus.
The coronavirus epidemic (now named COVID-19) in China is triggering global concern. This originated from a meat and fish market in Wuhan, China, in December. It has expanded to many nations, including the United States, since then.
Given quarantine in Wuhan and other Chinese towns, COVID-19 has spread to approximately worldwide. Throughout the United States, reports of COVID-19 have been recorded and fatalities have been documented.
Many individuals diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus can develop mild to moderate respiratory illness and heal without the need for medical care. Symptoms:

Those who have chronic medical problems and individuals aged 60 years of age are at greater risk of contracting severe disease and death.

Common symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Tiredness
  • Dry cough.

Other symptoms include:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Aches and pains
  • Sore throat
  • And very few people will report diarrhea, nausea or a runny nose.

Prevention:

To avoid Infection and slow spread of COVID-19, do the following:

  • Wash your hands daily with soap and water or scrub them with alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Have at least 1 meter of space between you and others who cough or sneeze.
  • Don’t cross your nose.
  • Cover your mouth and nose as you cough or sneeze.
  • Keep at home if you feel terrible.
  • Refrain from smoking and other practices that damage the lungs.
  • Conduct physical isolation by preventing needless movement and keeping away from broad numbers of men.

Those with minor complaints that are still stable should avoid self-isolated and consult a primary care professional or COVID-19 for guidance on monitoring and referral.

Persons with fatigue, cough, or trouble breathing will contact their physician to receive medical treatment.
