On Saturday at 11 a.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi will use videoconferencing to open the India Toy Fair 2021. “Toys play a major role in the growth of the mind of a child and also help improve children’s psychomotor and cognitive abilities. The Prime Minister has previously emphasized the importance of toys in a child’s overall development. In accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision, the India Toy Fair 2021 will be held.
From February 27 to March 2, 2021, the Fair will be held. Its goal is to bring all stakeholders together on a virtual platform, including buyers, sellers, students, teachers, designers, and others, in order to build long-term relationships and promote dialogue for the industry’s overall development.
The Government and Industry will meet on this platform to discuss how India can become the next global hub for toy manufacturing and sourcing by attracting investments and encouraging exports.
More than 1000 exhibitors will display their products in virtual exhibitions enabled by e-commerce from across 30 States and Union Territories. It will feature both traditional and modern Indian toys, including electronic toys, plush toys, puzzles, and games.
Numerous webinars and panel discussions with eminent Indian and international speakers with proven capabilities in toy design and manufacturing will also be held during the fair. It is an opportunity for children to participate in a variety of activities, including traditional toy-making craft demonstrations and virtual visits to toy museums and factories.
