Shruti Haasan went to Instagram and shared a special picture of her childhood with Kamal Haasan’s father, who turned 66 today.
Today, the legendary actor Kamal Haasan turned 66. He received special birthday wishes from all his fans, but his daughter, Shruti Haasan, was the sweetest so far.
Shruti shared with Father Kamal Haasan a throwback picture of her and it’s all sweet stuff, to say the least. In the picture, wearing a dress, baby Shruti is seen giving Daddy Kamal Haasan a hug.
The father-daughter duo laughed in the vintage photo as they stared at something. Neither of them posed for the camera directly.
Shruti wrote, sharing the photo, that she can’t wait to see everything that awaits her father. She talked as ‘Bapuji, appa and daddy dearest’ to Kamal Haasan.

On his 66th birthday, Shruti’s sister and Kamal Haasan’s second daughter, Akshara Haasan, also wished her ‘bapuji’. “She posted a picture of them and wrote,
As Kamal Haasan turns 66, Shruti was the first to share a traditional birthday show image for Kamal Haasan. “It is my honor to release the common display image generated by his lovely loving fans for my dearest father @ikamalhaasans birthday on Nov 7th,” she wrote while sharing the image.
The political party of Kamal Haasan Makkal Needhi Maiam ‘s logo was also a part of the popular display image.
Both Shruti and Akshara Haasan are actors, as is Kamal Haasan. They took up singing as well, one of the many talents that Kamal Haasan also boasts of.
