MTV Splitsvilla’s fame Divya Agarwal has been in the headlines for her topless shooting. The diva garnered mixed reactions to her photos, and she also opened up to the troll who was trying to bring others down. The diva began her journey as a dancer in showbiz and is now a popular face among young people. Recently, in interaction with TOI, Divya revealed that she played a double-bodied role for Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. Divya said she also worked as an extra for Student Of The Year starring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan.
Talking about her journey, Divya Agarwal said that she’s done a lot of show-biz jobs, but she’s been close to the movies since she loves it. Revealing the details of being a body—double Katrina Kaif, she said, “Working behind the camera was always fun to me. I love movies, and I’m just going to be there. I used to work as Katrina’s body-double perfume and soap ad. Her height and body were very much like me. It was easier for them to adjust the lighting and everything else. It was a crazy experience, and I’ve been doing it for a year.”
When asked if she had any interaction with Katrina, she replied, “No, it isn’t. Onset, she takes on a whole new persona. She’ll go straight to her vanity once her work is completed. She wouldn’t chit-chat and would remain in her comfort zone. I know a lot of actors who aren’t particularly chatty. Divya Agarwal continued, “Working in Karan Johar’s SOTY, “A coordinator approached me as I was looking at my photos and called me. I had my own dance studio in Navi Mumbai when I was 15 years old, with 700 students. We were well-known as dance instructors and choreographers. They said we might be able to get a part in SOTY. I was taken aback. When we arrived, we discovered that backgrounders were required. I thought to myself, “OK, let’s try this as well.””
She said, “I’ve convinced my best friend to come along with me. I saw Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan there, watching them, and I was in awe of them. I saw Rishi Kapoor Sir, too, and I was happy to see him work closely. I saw Ram Kapoor Sir, too. I was just like this is awesome.”
