Actress Nehha Pendse is the new Anita Bhabi in the popular Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai sitcom. She says it is a huge responsibility to play the character, who was previously portrayed by actress Saumya Tandon. Nehha is a popular television actress who became a household name in the Hindi sitcom May I Come In Madam? for her role as Sanjana. With her gorgeous, sizzling avatars and exceptional acting skills, she has also ruled the Marathi cinema.
For months now, there has been a great deal of anticipation and speculation about who will be India’s current favourite, Anita Bhabi. The audience has been genuinely excited and currently awaiting to know more about the new Anita Bhabi. Nehha said, “I am ecstatic and pleased to be part of a cult show, ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai,’ which has entertained the audience for over six years.”
It’s a huge burden and there’s no doubt that there are some big shoes to fill. But I am sure the community will shower their new Anita Bhabi with as much care and affection. I am cheerfully looking forward to starting shooting soon,” she added.
As for her role in the show, Nehha shared, “There is a lot much in shop, and I would not like to divulge too many details yet, to keep a certain surprise element for the listener. But one thing that I can assure you is that there’s a lot more oomph, glamour, humour, and fun in store.
The comedy show revolves around neighbouring couples, The Mishras and The Tiwaris, from Modern Colony. Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (actor Aasif Sheikh) and Manmohan Tiwari (actor Rohitashv Gour) are constantly trying to impress the other’s wife, believing that the grass is greener on the other hand.

Meanwhile, with Touring Talkies, the actress made her Marathi film debut and, in Hindi, she made her film debut with Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin. She was a famous child artist and, at the tender age of 5, made her acting debut. With her TV show Captain House, she entered the industry in 1990.
