Kangana recently went to her Twitter account and revealed how she designed her own attire back in the days when she didn’t have much money to buy ‘something special.’
Retweeting the picture she shared with her fan page, she wrote, “First National Award, Many special memories attached to it, I was one of the youngest actresses to receive the honour, also for a woman-centered film from a woman president. I designed my own suit that didn’t have enough money to buy something special, the suit wasn’t bad.

In the picture, President Pratibha Patil can be seen accepting the award from Kangana. Kangana chose to wear an Anarkali suit with a border of red, golden, and green. The outfit designed by Kangana indeed looked beautiful.
For her role in the movie Fashion, Kangana was honoured with the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. It was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and the other female leaders also featured Priyanka Chopra and Mugdha Godse. Although Kangana had a short screen time during the film, both critics and audiences praised her for her performance.
Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her spy thriller Dhaakad on the job front, which will be released theatrically on October 1. As Agent Agni, Kangana recently released a first-look poster. She can be seen in the poster wielding a sword against a backdrop of blood and gore, setting the film’s action tone.
