Madhuri Dixit celebrated the 13th anniversary of her popular ‘Aaja Nachle’ dance film. Madhur had returned to face the camera with this musical after a break of five years, which was packed with hit dance tracks such as ‘Aaja Nachle’ and ‘O Re Piya.’ Madhuri shared, fondly reminiscent of the film, on Instagram, “Dance is something close to my heart and makes this film special.”

Madhuri had also revealed, along with the special note, that producer Aditya Chopra had flown to the USA to tell her about the movie and get her on board for ‘Aaja Nachle.’
Madhuri often stayed in the US after her marriage to Sriram Nene in 1999, and it seems like that’s where she narrated the script of this iconic film.
Madhuri and Dr. Sriram Nene recently celebrated the 21st anniversary of their wedding.

Karan Johar produced ‘Kalank’ and comic caper ‘Total Dhamaal’ as the last onscreen outing of Madhur Dixit, both of which hit the screens in 2019.
