A popular TV actress, Rubina Dilaik, has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss 14. After the final showdown between her and vocalist Rahul Vaidya, who became the runner-up, host Salman Khan announced her as the winner. Nikki Tamboli, a South Indian actress, was the first runner-up. With roles in shows such as Chotti Bahu and Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Rubina made a name. Her ‘shikshika’ conduct inside the house made her unpopular.
Outside the house, the loyal fan base of Rubina Dilaik had been voting fiercely for her. Every now and then, tags like ‘Rubina The Boss Lady’ and ‘Rubina For The Win’ keep trending. Several top stars have rooted for the TV actress, too, such as Bipasha Basu and others.
During the full course of her journey, Rubina Dilaik was the only contestant in the Bigg Boss 14 house who lived inside. While other competitors, including Rahul Vaidya, made an exit and returned, from the first day to the last day, she remained in the game. Also, during her whole stay, she survived being the only contestant nominated.
Hina Khan and Gauhar Khan were once heard discussing how Rubina has all the qualities to win the show suring the initial weeks of the show in the house visiting Seniors.
Rubina has had an interesting journey from opening up about her divorce from her husband Abhinav Shukla to facing allegations from co-contestants Kavita Kaushik and her husband Ronnit. Towards the end of the show, to protect her husband’s respect, Rubina even broke the rules and threw water on Rakhi Sawant. She has been nominated for the past two weeks as a result.
Nevertheless, Rubina Dilaik won the Ticket to Finale task with her sharp strategies and smart gameplay as well. She could not use power because of her punishment, but honoured her close friend Nikki Tamboli, making her the first finalist.
