The most significant segment of any nation is youth. Here are a few ways the nation can take advantage of youth for a better tomorrow—

  • Almost 34 percent of the Indian population are young people and they have the power to change the country. The country can ensure a brighter tomorrow by providing opportunities for young people to express themselves.
  • Young people must be given courses and opportunities that can help them to better understand governance and politics. Enabling an interest in governance will lead to fresher political faces and names that can alter the approach of the government through their ideas.
  • From racism to patriarchy, India’s young people have views on every pressing issue in the country. Another way for the nation to use young people for its own development is to let them express their opinions.
  • Forming youth bodies which can guide and serve as a platform for them as well. Such bodies can assist young people to represent themselves as advocates of change.
  • While framing the policies, the youth must be addressed and treated as an important entity so that they can benefit and learn from them directly.
