A few days ago, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that banking operations would remain closed in the month of December 2020.

Banks will remain closed for a total of 11 days during the last month of 2020.

Bank holidays, however, vary in different states and are not observed by all banking companies.

There are many state-specific regional holidays in December 2020, besides Christmas.

The second Saturday and the fourth Saturday are the December 2020 regular bank holidays.

While December 12 falls on the second Saturday, December 26 falls on the fourth Saturday.

December 19-Day of Goa Liberation

December 24 – Festival of Christmas

25th of December-Christmas

December 26- The Festival of Christmas
